May 1 – WA High School State Cahmp’s

Great (and sunny) day out on Fort Lewis McCord Air Force base. Fuper fun course and venue, thank you! The Major Taylor gang raced 4 students, 3 of which being their first ever MTB race. Alex Eagan took 3rd in JV! Big Hector, Max and Yonas rounded out the top 15 in Frosh/Soph. It was really great to have these first timers out there. I think the bug has been caught! Russ, Dave Pearson, Scott Keiper and Fred Stamm will be heading up the Major Taylor Cycling Club at Tyee High School. The first of two races begin April 3rd. Want to also thank two very important contributors to our program, Sean “The Doc” Wittmer and Kevin Stapleton for their generous donations. With your help we’ll have more kids on the trail!
